So. I'm sitting here realizing that I could actually start blogging about having a baby, and I mean from even where I'm at and what I'm doing right now.
My dear friend and supermom, Connor, graciously shared an amazing website for tracking my fertility cycle. I signed up and am now learning about natural signs that tell me when I'm ready to have a go at getting pregnant each month. My husband will be oh-so-happy to hear that the site recommends many attempts during the small window of possibility. I won't tell him just yet, however. It's a vary fascinating process and I'm learning a lot about the female body. I have already had some questions answered as to why my body does certain things, and now I know these are signs of being, well, fertile. What's sad, however, is that my body isn't doing those things as often as they used to and that worries me a bit about my chances of getting pregnant. However, I think this tool will help me understand and know when those moments are there.
I really appreciate this website and for the fact that I've got people in my life like Connor who have walked this path before me, only to provide me with their experience.
We start trying in June. Wish us luck.
