Ta-Da!!! I'm back!

I have discovered probably the best cheeseburger on planet earth. Better than Hut's, better than Waterloo, better than Dan's/Fran's (yes, can you believe it?). There is a great little place on South First street which is actually an abandoned parking lot that calls itself the "Trailer Park Eatery". There are two little stands: Torchy's Tacos and Shuggie's Burgers. Shuggie's (don't you just love that name?) is THE place for the best cheeseburger on planet earth. I don't think I can describe this burger, but I'll try. It melts in your mouth, the bun is buttery, the patties are HOMEMADE, the cheese is melted into the patty, and, oh my god, is it ever delicious. Why my husband doesn't agree with me is beyond my comprehension, but then, he's no conesour of food like I am...ha ha! We decided to try this place on the fly and I was totally impressed. What I love about it, too, is that you order it at the little stand, then go sit at some picknick tables under a huge old oak tree, with christmas lights hanging and a porch swing dangling from the oak. They've got little candles on the tables, and people can bring their own booze. The burgers (and beer battered fries...OMG, hello) are brought out to you and soda refils are FREE! With this wonderful weather we're having, it's a great way to spend a Friday evening.

I rode my bike to school today! What fun was that? Seriously, no messing with traffic, to getting behing city busses and being stuck, it was wonderful. We'll see how the ride home goes...

I'll be at Shuggie's next weekend if anyone wants to meet me there...
